Wedding dresses can be something old and something new.

Most women wear their wedding dress just once and then pack it away never to be seen again.
But Joanne Ferguson Bridal doesn't see why the dress of your dreams can't be "for Life".

Having studied Textiles and Fashion at University and seen the wedding dresses at Museums Joanne believes that if you love your dress there is always a way to help you wear it again. Why does it have to be White or Ivory. If you look at wedding dresses in days gone by they were often a colour and after the wedding the bride wore them again and again.

She says: "They can be shortened, dyed of made into christening gowns"
